Hamilton Hires New Communication Associate

The Hamilton Friends Association is excited to announce a new addition to the Hamilton Friends team. Starting February 10th, Anna Renzetti, a recent graduate from Western Washington University, began as the Hamilton Friends Communication Associate.

Anna brings with her a degree in Communication and experience writing for Western’s campus publications, The Western Front and Planet Magazine. In addition to her journalism experience, Anna also worked as the PR Intern for the Seattle Children's Theater and has worked with young people in a variety of capacities throughout her college career.

As Communication Associate, Anna will be writing and publishing the monthly   e-news letter (The Hamilton Friends Post), updating the website, working to increase Hamilton Friends visibility with local and national press, and will work to increase communication between students and with our donors using online technologies. In addition, Anna will provide some much needed administrative help.

“We are really looking forward to having Anna on our staff,” said Joslin Boroughs, Director of Operations. “Her work will not only improve our communications, it will also allow us to put more energy towards improving our programs.”

Since moving out of state four years ago, Anna has made it a point to learn from all her experiences. From her studies abroad in Costa Rica to her experience with disadvantaged youth in Utah, Anna believes her new position with Hamilton Friends will be another exciting stepping stone on her road to self-discovery.

“I’m excited to be working for an organization that I can care about,” Anna said. “I see Hamilton Friends as a place where I can grow and do great things for others.”
