About Us
The Alexander Hamilton Friends Association, or simply Hamilton Friends, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation incorporated in the State of Washington in 2004. The AHFA serves students ranging from high school juniors to college seniors. Initially our students are nominated by their principals and school counselors. They are from all across the United States, and come from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Our goal is to change the way these students manage their transition from high school to college and from college to the workplace. There are many workplace skills such as goal setting, time management, business protocol, etc. that are not taught in the college setting and many students cannot afford to take the unpaid or low-paid internships designed to help them acquire those skills because they are saddled with student loan debt. AHFA programs aim to fill those gaps by offering professional mentors, internships, educational programs, and assistance in finding scholarships. We believe that with these programs to support them, our students will leave college debt free with a well rounded skill set that will allow them to get a job representing a true first step toward achieving high personal and career goals. We believe by feeding the dreams of our communities' brightest stars and giving them the tools they need to succeed, we will create leaders who are prepared to make a meaningful contribution to American Society. Take this opportunity now to donate and invest in America's young people. If you have additional questions please contact us at (206) 774-0764 or by email at info@hamiltonfriends.org.
